OnBoard, was featured in an article with BusinessDesk discussing the unique challenges of startup governance in New Zealand as a result of the report OnBoard published: "The State of Startup Governance in NZ".

The article highlighted the country's thriving startup ecosystem, consisting of around 2,400 startups at various stages of development.

Many of these startups require a board of directors to provide guidance and represent shareholders.

OnBoard's report, "The State of Startup Governance in NZ," shed light on the distinct nature of being a board member for startups compared to established companies.

We need to more than double the number of startups operating here to 5,000, according to the government’s Startup Advisors Council. That would give us a greater level of critical mass and global integration, but it will require us to think differently when it comes to startup governance to make sure our early-stage companies, in particular, are set up for success.”
